Supporting and developing new marketing talent is central to our culture and ethos at Topodium Group. We’re delighted to welcome our new Digital Marketing Apprentice, Max Chaytor.

With a passion for sports, particularly Football, Formula One and Tennis, Max joins the Topodium Group team eager to develop his marketing skill set in a sports, health and fitness environment.
An avid social media fan, frequenting TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and Twitter, our new digital native is ready to sink his teeth into social media account management, digital advertising and content development – to name a few exciting projects he’ll be involved in!
Welcome to the team, Max. Tell us a bit about yourself.
Hello, I’m Max and I am currently 18 years old. I am a big football fan, interested in my cars and love spending way too much time on Instagram and TikTok.
What made you want to work for Topodium Group?
What interested me about this particular role at Topodium Group is how social media can boost and support the sports, fitness and leisure industries. Topodium Group are experts in this field – I have been waiting for an opportunity such as this one, and I am extremely eager to get going and learn all about this role!
What’s your favourite sport to watch and which team do you root for?
I have many such as Formula 1 and Tennis, but I am very much a neutral when it comes to watching. My favourite sport, however, is football and I am definitely not a neutral there! I have been a Liverpool FC fan since I was young, and of course, right now, I’m waiting for the Euros to come home!
What trend do you hope makes a comeback?
I’m going to cheat slightly here, but it counts as a trend – festivals! For obvious reasons we haven’t had many over the last 18 months, but hopefully we get them back soon.
What’s one thing you’re learning right now, and why is it important?
Technically, I am learning this role right now! As this is an apprenticeship position, I’ll be learning throughout the 18-months of the apprenticeship, and I’m looking forward to developing my skills over that time – that’s important for everyone involved, as it means I can grow as a person and in this field, but everyone around me can benefit and we can all help Topodium Group reach new heights for our partners.
What do you like to do to unwind and relax when you aren’t working?
I would definitely say watching TikTok and browsing Instagram. At first, I never used TikTok but now I spend hours on there without realising. Instagram is a little different, as I often use it as a news source as well as a social media platform to entertain myself.
What’s your must read, watch or listen right now?
I have been a massive fan of the RanksFC podcast on Spotify, hosted by former members of the Bleacher Report conglomerate from the US – probably the biggest sports social media channel in the world. The presenters since broke off and continued the podcast independently. It keeps me updated on all major football news across Europe and often the United States, too.
Name a product you can’t live without, and tell us why.
Right now I would definitely say may Piriteze hay-fever tablets! Pollen is so high this year and if I don’t take a tablet, you’ll find me sat alone constantly sneezing with swollen eyes, so I’d say I can’t really live without those right now.
You’re hosting a dinner party, which 3 famous guests are you inviting and why?
For some reason, I’ve never really thought about this question, but here goes…
Harry Redknapp – Bizarre, yes, but he’s such an iconic football man, with countless stories to tell.
Jay Leno – As I previously mentioned, I am into my cars, and the chat show has about a million cars (not literally) so I’d love to talk with him about those.
David Attenborough – I’m sure many people’s choice. Such as fascinating man with so much wisdom, I’d feel like he’d get along with my other two guests too.
We’re delighted to welcome Max to the team! Meet more of the Topodium Group team.
