Welcome to the team, Curtis!

Tell us a bit more about yourself…

From studying product design, I know the importance of getting the words out to your audience. Without marketing, the product you’ve created will never reach your end users. I see this as a disservice to both consumers and businesses. Since consumers miss out the chance to improve their current lifestyle; while businesses are not able to solve consumers’ problems or have a return on their investment to further grow our economy. I’ve been running a small business/ experiment with my own resources for a few years, where I gained a wide range of digital marketing and other business skills. I’m confident my ‘skin in the game’ experience and knowledge will have an immediate positive impact on any clients’ businesses. Especially through digital advertising where I spend most of my time specialising.

I understand revenue is a business’s bloodline. Without sales you don’t have a business. You don’t have the extra resources to expand and serve more customers. When I decided to join Topodium Group, I set it my No. 1 priority to generate more money for our clients and grow with them as a long term partner, who they can give absolute trust to.

What made you want to join Topodium Group?

The two biggest reasons are:

  1. The sport and fitness industry is ever expanding. I need to get involved in this fast-pace growing market where exciting opportunities are created everyday.
  1. I feel that my talent and skill set is a great match to Topodium Group. My work and Topodium Group compliments one and other extremely well, where key values are exchanged organically to create a win-win situation.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

Hopefully semi-retired and only working on projects that I believe in and am passionate about. I see a future where most of our ‘work’ is automated from advanced technology and AI, and everyone enjoys a lot more spare time where our output is created as our creative expressions

Name one of your favourite brands and why?

Apple because of Steve Jobs. I admire how market attuned Steve Jobs was. It just seemed he knew what people wanted even before they knew they wanted it. Not to mention the beautiful designs that are so natural to us. Because of Steve Jobs, Apple is now an integrated part of our lives, what an impact he has made. Just imagine how much better the world would be if Jobs was still alive and changing the world.

If you could go anywhere in the world on holiday, where would you go and why?

Would be cool if I could go to Mars just to say I’m one of the first humans to visit another planet and help us become a multi-planet species. Even though I am nowhere smart enough to help us get there, I do believe from a biology and history standpoint, we are born explorers and meant to conquer. It is within our genes to do so.

What did you want to grow up to be when you were a kid?

Funnily enough, I’ve always wanted to be a Circus Tamer (animal trainer) when I was a kid. Turns out that’s very cruel and I didn’t realise it at the time.

We’re delighted to welcome Curtis to the team!
