Topodium Group welcome Charlene Elliot to the growing team as one of our two new Business Administrators. Charlene joins us at a thrilling time for the business, as we grow our reputation and increase our work with Partners – and with increased workload comes lots of Admin. Thankfully, we have a superstar in Charlene who is amazingly organised and focused, helping us achieve success for our brands and businesses.
Welcome to the team, Charlene! Tell us a bit about yourself.
Since Leaving school I’ve been working in domiciliary care. I started my degree in Nursing which I withdrew from after a change in my circumstances. Joining Topodium Group has been a huge career change, though I’m loving it. Growing up I was a competitive swimmer and loved sports activities after school.
What makes you excited about your new role as Business Administrator within Topodium Group?
I’m excited to work for Topodium Group as a Business Administrator. I’m looking forward to further developing my skills within administration, and building my confidence during my role.
What has been your proudest moment in your career so far?
In my previous roles I have been working in domiciliary care. My proudest moment within my career to-date would be learning to deal with the pressure of being busy, and having to deal with emergency situations. I was always shy while growing up, so it’s taught me to be confident in my own abilities.
What are your first impressions of Topodium Group so far?
My first impression of Topodium Group? Well, I know it sounds a cliche but it’s like being welcomed into a little family. It’s clear already that everyone helps each other out, both inside and outside of the office environment. One of the main benefits of working for Topodium group is the close-knit, friendly atmosphere of the people … as well as the access to the gym facilities! That culture is really important and is the backbone of the company, and I’m really glad to be a part of it.
If you could invite three celebrities round to dinner, who would you choose?
Oooh, if I could invite just three celebrities I would have to choose Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and Rebecca Adlington. Make of that what you will!
What are you currently reading, watching or listening to?
In my spare time I tend to watch a lot of police or ambulance shows; for example 24 Hours in Police Custody or 999 What’s Your Emergency. I love the high energy and the thrill of it all.
What is your favourite sport, and which team or athlete do you support/follow?
Growing up, my favourite sport was competitive swimming. I really admire and look up to people like Rebecca Adlington.
What is your favourite Disney film?
Tough choice! I’d have to split it between the Toy Story films and Lion King. Hakuna Matata!
What do you like to do to unwind and relax when you aren’t working?
When I’m not working I spend my down time either watching TV or scrolling on Social Media. I also love spending time cleaning and polishing my car!
What pets if any do you have?
Strangely, I’ve always had black and white pets. Sydney and Riley are both black and white Spaniels, plus Tinks the cat, and Domino the rabbit.
What is the best career lesson you’ve learned so far?
I think my career in care taught me a lot. I soon learnt to appreciate all life’s moments, as you never know how long you have left in good health. I learnt that some of the stories from our older generations are some of the best stories untold. You can certainly learn a lot from lives well-lived and wise minds!

When I learned of all the services that Topodium Group offer, and actually deliver all of them excellently with care and dedication, I knew that Partners would be happy. The fact that the team are always trying to do their best and are so invested in the success of Partners really says it all.
