Welcome to the team, Lauren! Tell us a bit about yourself.

I have a degree in Advertising & Marketing Communications from Bournemouth University. After leaving University I freelanced at a few Advertising, Marketing & PR agencies, before landing a job at Virgin Media as Sales Support. I progressed through the roles to Account Executive in Public Sector Sales, working mainly with Health Trusts and Local Government, until I went on maternity leave with my second child. Following that I decided to spend more time with my children but still wanted to be working and challenging myself – Topodium allows me the flexibility to do both.

What motivated you to join the team?

I’d say working with a local business initially attracted me, but what motivated me was the fact Topodium Group offered me the opportunity to work flexibly around my family.

What do you think is the most exciting opportunity here?

After some time away, it’s definitely tapping back into my marketing background!

What do you look forward to learning most in this role?

Learning about all the other different roles – I’m joining a team with a diverse range of skills and I can’t wait to understand more about them!

What do you like to do in your free time

Most of my free time is taken up by my two small boys, whilst also coping with a house renovation project!

What are your hobbies?

I enjoy baking – but I love to travel when I get the time!

What did you want to be when you were a child?

A vet – things have gone a bit differently since then!

What’s a dream you have yet to accomplish?

Completing the house renovation!

What is one thing you would like to do that you haven’t done yet?

I’d love to visit New York. It’s on my bucket list
