Creative Design is often at the heart of most projects within the Marketing world. It allows a brand to truly embrace their identity, capture the unique aspects of a company. Often enough, a lot of how customers choose to follow through with a particular brand or business, is how it is portrayed to them.

This is why we are so excited about our extension of the Topodium Group family! After a stellar first few weeks, we welcome our new Creative Designer: Naomi!
Hailing from a background in Media Production and Graphic Design, she has continued to follow her passions in the creative world in mediums such as video, photography and social media. With the experience of being a freelance photographer, her enthusiasm and drive for design continued to develop, supporting individuals and small businesses in her spare time through the magic of social media.
Welcome to the Team, Naomi! Tell us a bit about yourself.
Thank you for welcoming me so nicely!
During my education years in school and college, I always selected creative subjects which led me to my decision to study Media Production, at the University of Winchester. I gained multi-media knowledge and learnt about the creative world along with the various mediums, platforms and software.
I won four Laurel Awards within group work recognised in Best Drama Short Film, VJPJ, Time Project and Space Project gained in the third year U-DOC and U-Drama University festival.
I would like to say I have all-rounded experience in the design world with still plenty of room to learn new technical skills and expand my knowledge across different types of design while always learning the latest design trends. I am here ready to take on new challenges and am excited to get stuck into all things Topodium. I hope to be a great asset to the group to support the continued success of the creative marketing agency.
What interests you about Design? Especially it’s role within Marketing?
Being a designer in marketing is exhilarating because there is plenty of variation in tasks and projects – certainly keeps me on my toes!
Design allows me to be bold and celebrate my own individuality while expressing my own personal feelings and experiences. Design gives me the opportunity to try innovative ideas, problem solve, take risks and find the best solutions. I fell in love with design within the marketing industry as it not allows me to be daring but motivates me to bring the best out of a brand or product. Through the use of colours, shapes, textures, space, forms, images, and content to create a strong first impression in a harmonious way.
I also enjoy the critical thinking side of design, questioning ideas to find better outcomes to determine the best ways to represent a realistic picture or emotion for the user. I enjoy enhancing design processes to improve efficiency among a team to create better work output and productivity.
I bring my expertise to Topodium Group with the aim to improve design workflow while creating great honest designs to satisfy its purpose, functionality and audience.
What excites you most about joining the Topodium Group Team?
I have a big passion for fitness and health so the fact Topodium Group mission is to transform the sports, health and well-being industry drove me to apply to this role. I believe in Topodium Group’s values and the transparency in their service and products.
It is a positive marketing agency, taking control of everything in-house supporting businesses every step of the way of their journey stood out to me.
I am looking forward to getting stuck into all the wonderful projects working with current and new partners who wish to connect with the innovative agency.
Tell us 2 truths and 1 lie
- The quickest 10k I have run is in 43:11 and was in the quickest group which was a total of 37 people of my age group between 25-30.
- Met Pixie Lott and Chipmunk in the same club in Mayfair London.
- Can handstand walk.
If you were in a band, what would it be called and what would be your part?
It would be called the Brunchin Babes (shout out to the Brunchin babes) and I would be the dancer in the background cutting some shapes, oh and maybe with some utensils.
What’s the best piece of advice you have ever received?
The more you put in the more you get out. This applies to anything in life!
You’re hosting a dinner party- who would you be inviting and why?
- Michael Jackson because he is my icon when growing up. I love his music, he is the King of Pop so he will be the performer at the dinner party!
- Micky Flanagan because he is hilarious and would make me laugh.
- Gino D’Acampo as he will be the chef for the night plus he has a great sense of humour!
- Tom Hardy as he will be the eye candy.
Are you an Early Bird or a Night Owl?
I would say I am more of a Night Owl for the nightlife but do enjoy being an Early Bird for working out and to make the most of the day – it’s all about balance!
What inspires you the most?
I like to live every day as my last and make the most out of life!
What’s the one tool every Creative Designer should have in their arsenal?
I would say keep hold of a library of all the graphics, icons, textures, images, swatches, mock-up templates, fonts, illustrations and any useful documents to keep handy – never know when you may need them and will help the design process.
We are all very excited to see more of Naomi’s work and her talent and what she can bring to our team. Her breadth of experience in all things creative and her passion for design and marketing makes her already a valuable asset for our new and exciting partners.
