Making the Podium features inspirational and game changing insights from business leaders and innovators in the world of sport, health and leisure.
On Thursday 25th February, the new podcast from the sports, health and fitness, and leisure agency Topodium Group, will be hitting the sound waves.
Hosted by Topodium Group Co-Founder, Chris Sharman, who has over 25 years operational and commercial experience with some of the sector’s biggest brands, the podcast will be broadcast every fortnight and will feature influential and successful names who are shaping the future of the sport, health and leisure sectors, and discussing the lessons they have learned along the way.

Future episodes in the first series will feature Paul Bowman, CEO of Wexer Virtual; Tammy Parlour MBE, CEO and Co-Founder of Women’s Sports Trust; and Tom Lemons, Head of Talent & Influencer Partnerships at NSPCC (National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children).
Head of Brand and Marketing for Topodium Group, Ryan Grimshaw, commented: “From our very inception we have been focused on pushing the boundaries and challenging the sports, health and leisure industries across marketing and innovation. To continue to effectively do so, we know that we’ll need share our knowledge and that of others; those who are positively disrupting and shaking up the status quo. Through the Making the Podium podcast we want to inspire business owners, marketing leads and business teams with stories and actions that will serve to drive their business forward in this evolving landscape.”
Chris Sharman added: “Topodium Group has a fantastic network across the sports, health and leisure industries of leaders and innovators who all have interesting stories to tell. Selfishly, I’ve had so much fun recording the sessions and expanding my own knowledge – it’s been a real joy to speak to others in the industry who are doing amazing things. The podcast shares both the successes and the challenges leaders have endured, which are often the parts we never get to hear. I’m hoping we inspire many businesses and the entrepreneurs of the future.”
Topodium Group extend their thanks to Bournemouth based Podcast Labs, who have been instrumental to the launch and success to date of Making the Podium.
